I designed a torque testing station used to characterize the mechanical response of rotating components. The system integrated a torque cell and a high-resolution quadrature encoder to measure applied torque and angular displacement. Using LabVIEW and a National Instruments DAQ, I developed a program to record real-time data during clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. The system outputs a live hysteresis graph, allowing engineers to analyze torque-displacement behavior and quantify energy loss through the cycle.
